Many of these wineries are family owned and operated, located on picturesque properties and they welcome your visit nearly every day of the year.

Winery tours can be as simple as stopping in unannounced for a sample tasting of several wines. Or you can make a day of it! Cellar tours and barrel tastings can be exciting and educational; and they are easy to arrange.  Most wineries encourage you to bring a picnic lunch, as Pennsylvania law prohibits wineries from selling or serving food, except as part of special events, such as the famed 'March Madness" Wine Tours.
